Some Sad News
Sadly, Ken Fulton, a long-standing, highly respected, and greatly valued member of the choir passed away from Covid in Medway hospital during the early hours of Sunday the 24th January 2021. Ken has been a member of Orpheus in excess of 40 years and his passing will leave a noticeable gap in the bass section. We will miss him, both as a singer and as a friend. At a time of such personal grief and loss, none of us can begin to know what the family must be going through. We extend our thoughts to his wife Linda and the family.
It is with much sadness, to announce that Patrick Keast, our Society’s well-loved, long-standing member of the Bass section, Committee member and Treasurer, has passed away after his long, unforgiving and courageous battle with Covid-19. Pat will be greatly missed by those who had the pleasure of knowing and singing with him and whose lives he touched. At some stage, who knows when, we will all sing again and mark Pat’s passing together as a choir.
