Music at Christmas - 20th December 2003

Once again we have experienced exceptional support from our friends in Sittingbourne. The Swallows was filled to capacity and the choir probably at its largest ever with about 110 singing.

This was a demanding programme with over 20 pieces and Carols being sung.
The press (East Kent Gazette) were on hand and produced another fine spread (below) which sums up the evening and the sentiments of our Senior Member, Shirley Potter, on the growth and popularity of the choir. Claire Williamson is a fine soloist and the choir were pleased to welcome her back to sing with us.
